TravelPod Search Sorting
Another long requested featured was just pushed out. We’ve just released a new feature that now allows search results for blogs to be sorted by date or quality so that you can track the latest blogs, photos and videos for a specific destination.
Here are a few example pages where you can test it out ( look for the new “Sort by” option )

Hi
Just been looking at your search feature and really, to sort by quality is a bit misleading. If someone has posted a couple of entries, had one rating of 5, whilst another person has 300 entries and has had some ratings of 1 out of say 100 ratings, who realistically has more quality? Not a very good way of stating quality now. But I do like the sort by date feature.

Glad to hear you like the date sorting David. The quality metric is a little trickier for sure. It takes a few things into consideration, including overall trip score rating. You do have a valid point though that the number of ratings is relevant and it should probably be included in some way. We’ll take this into consideration.

Hi
I do have one other thought on the search. At the bottom of each blog, it shows stories for that city. I look at these but would find it far more useful if it showed the latest stories, rather than from a few years ago.
Just a thought
